How To Become a Christian
It is our privilege to introduce you to Jesus Christ.
The Bible tells us that we all are sinners by nature and by choice.
"For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God," Romans 3:23 (NIV)
If we continue to sin, it will lead to death.
"For the wages of sin is death..." Romans 6:23a (NIV)
However, God loves us and gave His one and only Son, Jesus Chirst to die for our sins.
"But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us." Romans 5:8 (NIV)
To be forgive of our sin, all we need to do is acknowlege Jesus Christ's work on our behalf.
"That if you confess with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord," and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved." Romans 10:9-10 (NIV)
"Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved." Romans 10:13 (NIV)
The result is forgiveness of sin and the free gift of eternal life.
"...the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord." Romans 6:23b (NIV)
If you desire to ask Jesus Christ to forgive you of sin, pray this prayer:
"Dear God, I know that Jesus is Your Son, and that He died on the cross and was raised from the dead. I know I have sinned and need forgiveness. I am willing to turn from my sins and receive Jesus as my Savior and Lord. Thank You for saving me. In Jssus' name. Amen."
